Starter kit for spirulina cultivation

50ml Live Spirulina Algae (Spirulina platensis), intended as a starter for growing Spirulina at home.
Enclosed is a culture medium (40g) for 2l spirulina culture and instructions on the cultivation.

Spirulina is a very healthy dietary supplement that is said to have an even stronger health-promoting effect when eaten fresh. The own cultivation is uncomplicated and has already been described in detail in many places.

After starting your own spirulina culture, you can buy the ingredients for the culture medium yourself in drugstores and pharmacies (please pay attention to food quality!), or buy more in spirulina shops and enlarge and continue the culture as you wish.

Danger! Immediately after receiving the culture, please open the lid of the jar to allow the algae to breathe and put it in a bright place without direct sunlight. Regular stirring (e.g. once per hour) of the culture is necessary for its survival. After about 24 hours, the culture can be diluted to double the amount so that it can multiply optimally.
